Foliboarding Kite Beach

Foilboarding

For Kite Beach and Cabarete Bay, the WindAlert forecast usually under-predicts the strength of the wind in the late afternoon, usually by 3-5 knots, which may be the thermals kicking in as the hot Sun heats the island. But, foilboarders need less than a gust, not even WIND it would seem! Call it a breeze – and they’re off and racing. One knot equals one session. And, if you can’t beat em’ you best join em!

Some of the best foilboarders in the world can be seen training at Kite Beach, Cabarete. We will following their stories too. So, stick around.
