RipATrip To Kiteboard At Wasaga Beach, Georgian Bay, Ontario
An amazing day of wind, waves, sunset, and student success at Wasaga Beach, Ontario! Wasaga is an advanced kite spot where the waves will slap-you-hard close to shore, and the giant rollers will swallow-you-whole a just little further out!
For beginners, like Aleko, success at Wasaga Beach requires a strong mind, and sheer determination – of which he has TONS!
The Wasaga Beach waves are the biggest test Aleko has had so far, and he dominated – not only riding strong into the waves, but also riding UPwind too! Aleko levels up, gets +1 WAVERIDER skills (see vid)!
I had a little wave action too, though eventually getting swatted, and swept away by a giant roller, losing my board for a time, which was fortunately found and saved by always smiling Josh Kaminsky (I owe you brother!)
Stoked to see my good friend Brennan Basnicki was carving the waves too, showing us how to surf & find flow! Brennan is the founder of RipATrip.com (https://ripatrip.com/) – where all of us should be going to find our next kite trip NOW!
Brennan & RipATrip is doing all the heavy-lifting, all the hard-research for us! Who wants to hunt through hundreds of Google search results trying to find the next once-in-year awesome kite trip? Not me, thanks! I just want to book it, and RIP! Thank you, Brennan for this incredible service!
We Love Wasaga Beach!
