With 40 Knots Of Wind We Shared One 6M Kite In Toronto, Ontario

An amazing weekend of wind – sometimes gusting to 40 knots!

On Friday, everyone was was sharing a 6m kite as all the other kites we brought to Hanlan’s Point were too big!

Skunked = no wind. Reverse skunked = too much wind, and no kites small enough to ride safely.

Congratulations Vittorio, UP and RIDING for his first time at Holmes Point Park yesterday!

Welcome Saeed to our school!

Thank you Charlie Bern and Aleko Kokkinias for your help!

Can you spot the Cabarete kite collective in the pics? Julian Ganton, Charlotte Graham, Charlie Bern, Sean Fisher and myself – all of us were riding on Kite Beach this past winter!

Get IKO kiteboarding lessons at Hanlan’s Point, Toronto Islands and Holmes Point Park, Lake Simcoe!
