The time has arrived to get out on the water around Cherry Beach and the Toronto Islands even when the wind is blowing offshore from the North – NW, N, NE!
The #1 challenge for wingfoiling beginners is staying UPWIND!
Going out in offshore winds is just begging to end up on the arm of Tommy Thompson Park – or worse, end up adrift out into Lake Ontario.
However, here at We Love Kiteboarding, we offer an excellent resource to overcome this challenge!
We offer boat support – using a massive HeyDay wakesurfing boat!
Meet up at the marina, or send us a message, just let us know you’re going to be out in the offshore winds at Cherry Beach, and we will be available to support your session.
With our HeyDay boat we can stay close, offer tips and provide a very comfortable ride back UPWIND when you are ready.
Even with boat support you should still be practicing how to stay upwind. But, with boat support the pressure is off! If you can do it, great! If not, no problem, just hop in the boat.
