PARAWING FOILING PROGRAM
Lessons include use of specialized advanced F-One Frigate & Quest parawings, F-One Plume K-Wing, F-One Seven Seas and SK8 foils and F-One Free Surf mid-length boards.
The GOAL with Frigate/Quest para-wing is to catch, collapse and store (pack away in a waist pouch) the para-wing, and then surf-foil waves, connecting waves, until the power of the waves run out, then release the parawing to ride via wind power again.
The GOAL with Plume is to catch and hold the inflated leading edge, flagging the k-wing at your side (not collapsed, not stored, not packed away), and then surf-foil waves, connecting waves, until wave power runs out, then release the Plume leading edge, to ride via wind power again. Compared to the Frigate, because the Plume has an inflated leading edge, and only a few lines, it is more forgiving, easier to relaunch on the water, and does not get tangled either. This makes the Plume an excellent beginner step before trying to learn how to use a parawing.
Surf-foiling is highly technical, very advanced – so you are encouraged to participate in our Advanced Foiling Program to supplement your parawing lessons and sessions.

About the Plume K-Wing:
The Plume is F-One’s first K-Wing — a hybrid between a kite and a wing. The tagline: “Light as a feather, the glide of a kite combined with the comfort and practicality of a wing you can hold at arm’s length.”
It’s designed primarily for freefly downwinding — riding open ocean swells with minimal gear.
How It Works
– Inflatable, strutless design — no rigid strut, reduced leading edge. This makes it extremely lightweight and compact in a C-shaped profile.
– Bar-controlled like a kite (not hand-held like a wing). The bar feel is light, almost like a joystick — micro vertical adjustments steer it. Mostly one-handed flying; two hands only when powering up for upwind legs.
– Wide wind range with strong depower. Example: the 4.2m² covers 20–35 knots.
– Can be pumped for takeoff, though less efficiently than a traditional wing — better than a kite at self-launching but still needs a midlength board (not a tiny wing foil board).
